Putto

A putto (Italian: [putto]; plural putti [putti] or puttoes) is a figure in a work of art depicted as a chubby male child, usually nude and sometimes winged.

This little putto can be found in the gardens outside Gari Melchers Studio and Home. I wanted to capture this wonderful statue and the essence of the light I saw that day. This piece was juried into the exhibition, Belmont Portrayed at Gari Melchers Studio and Home in Falmouth Virginia.
